Yesterday we took soil samples. We dug holes and used a pik. the hole was about 30cm deep, it's called a soil print. We took samples of 5 good soil and 5 bad soils of the buffalo grass. It was sent to America, they test it in labs - biological and chemical things in the ground. Then we can see how and where to improve the soil. Doing this was great fun and we learnt a lot.
