24-28 January
I met a lot of people and learnt everything about Sondela. We did a lot of teamwork and got used to talking infront of people.
1-4 February
We did a First Aid and Fire fighting. I learnt how to do CPR, the Heimlich maneuver, splinting of a leg and bandage a cut. We learnt what to do in situations likea heart attack, snake bites, epilepsy, head injuries, ext.
In Fire fighting we learnt about the different types of extinguishers and how it works. We went to the Gwarry and extinguish a fire.
4-6 February
The weekend I helped check the fences. I allso did a game drive and learnt a lot about the animals and how to handle the guests. On Sunday we put out mineral blocks and molasses for the animals.
7-11 February
We did a lot of role playing and learnt how to welcome guests. We learnt how to make something useful out of something simple, that helped us to think practical and out of the box.
